Daniel Mendoza works mixing various mediums to achieve versatility, believing
he has found an art form in which he feel in tune with raw creativity. By mixing mediums
and techniques, Daniel is finding that it is possible for him to create something refreshing
as well as paying homage to influences with unique textures. Drawing inspiration from
his travels, his Mexican heritage, as well as renowned and regional artists, and everyday
humanity, he is able to create pieces with depth and emotion. The “Flor” series are
Daniel’s current passion. The movement, the time, the contrast and composition, the
effort seems great. The end result is a journey of beauty and inspiration. In his travels he
states “I have viewed many artistic manners. And to that great inspiration I came into the
Flores. From the city tops of Manhattan, to the ruins of Teotihuacan, to my California
home, these Flores are part of my daily vision.”
