Highlights from Oct 1, 2017 – Sep 30, 2017

  1. Updated front entrance landscape lighting to new LED fixtures, saving 50% in electric bills.
  2. Approved Policy to restrict short term property rentals
  3. Sealed common area sidewalks, repaired and stained walking bridge
  4. Completed Reserve Fund study, started to address repair concerns called out in study
  5. Coordination of Sewer Smell remediation Project with Metro Water and Sewer
  6. Landscaped common area near Sewer smell mitigation unit
  7. Communication of construction updates on the Villas project
  8. Communication of zoning changes impacting the neighborhood
  9. Continuation of monthly newsletter.
  10. Continued Yard of the Month award for Spring and Summer months.
  11. Facebook pagefor community communication, 140+ members.
  12. Completion of tax returns for the year end 2016.
  13. Collected Transfer fee of $300 on sale of property. Total of 15closing Oct 1, 2016-Sep 30, 2017.
  14. Decorations at front entrance for key holidays/seasons.
  15. Hosting of a Spring and a FallAnnual Garage Sale day.
  16. Welcoming committee continued visiting new homeowners to deliver welcome letter, quick start guide and Lowes gift card.
  17. Continue to receive automatic notification when Seven Points homes go on the market, are pending sales, and have closed on sales. Notify sellers with HOA-related sales information including website location and reminders of dues and transfer fee that will be charged to new owners.

Upcoming activities:

  1. Complete new lighting for front entrance that will light trees on right side
  2. Repairs to front entrance monument due age and changes in weather
  3. Start neighborhood social groups
