Max Lucado’s You’ll Get Through This Hits The New York Times Bestseller List

in First Week of Release

Nashville, TN—Thomas Nelson announces Max Lucado’s latest book, You’ll Get Through This: Hope and Help for Your Turbulent Times (released September 10, 2013), will debut at the #10 spot on The New York TimesAdvice and How To List on September 22, 2013.

“You’ll Get Through This is a message for the times,” says David Moberg, Senior Vice President and Group Publisher of Books, HarperCollins Christian Publishing. “This is a season when people need hope and no one is better suited to bring that message in a creative and dynamic way than Max.”

Thomas Nelson launched the book with a multi-city tour including stops in Los Angeles (Harvest Crusade), Dallas (Prestonwood Baptist), Philadelphia (Women of Faith), Washington, DC (National Community Church), Nashville (American Association of Christian Counselors Convention), and Rochester (Women of Faith). Launch week was highlighted with a special event in New York City sponsored by The Salvation Army on September 11. Promoted as a “night of remembrance and hope,” the event was attended by hundreds of people directly affected by three tragic events: the 9-11 attack, the Sandy Hook shooting and Hurricane Sandy. Lucado’s encouraging message to these survivors was drawn from the Old Testament story of Joseph and from his new book, You’ll Get Through This.

Further promotion of You’ll Get Through This will continue throughout the fall with media coverage in In Touch, Angels on Earth, HomeLife, Preaching, Faith Radio’s “Live the Promise”, Moody Radio’s “Chris Fabry Live” and American Family Radio’s “Today’s Issues.”
