Staggered Entry

-Staggered Entry Days: August 31st, September 1st, and September 5th

-Every child will be assigned one staggered entry day. On this day your child will attend school with 4 or 5 other classmates. They will attend school for the entire day on their staggered entry day. Buses will pick up and drop off on staggered entry days. Your child is only to attend school on the staggered entry day that they are assigned. They will not attend both staggered entry days.

-First day for all students: Wednesday, September 6th

*Transportation*:

-Arrive at bus stop 10-15 minutes prior to the pick- up and drop-off times that are listed on your child’s bus tag.

-An adult 18 or older must be at the bus stop in the AM and PM. If an adult is not at the PM stop your child will be brought back to school and you will have to pick them up.

-If your child is brought back to school 3 or more times they will lose their transportation privileges.

-Please make sure that your child’s bus driver and teacher are aware of the person that will be picking them up in the afternoon.

- If someone other than the person that usually picks up your child will be picking them up, please notify your child’s teacher in writing.

-It is mandatory that students wear both bus tags (back pack and necklace) throughout the entire school year.

-Car riders will need to keep the car rider flyer inside their car window.

-If for some reason your child needs to be a car rider instead of riding the bus as they normally do, please notify us by sending a note. Please be consistent with your child’s transportation to avoid confusion.

-All visitors must sign in at the front office prior to coming to the classroom.

*Folders*:

-Folders need to be checked and returned to school daily. Any notes or information that you would like us to receive should be placed in your child’s folder. It is very important that all notes are placed directly in the take home folders, not in your child’s book bag. We will check take home folders everyday but we are unable to search book bags.

-We recommend that you use Paypams to pay for your child’s lunch. If you send lunch money, we ask that you place it in an envelope. Label the envelope with your child’s name, lunch, and the amount enclosed. Place the envelope in your child’s folder.

*Physicals and Immunization Records*:

-We must have a copy of your child’s current immunization records and a current physical.
