NTPC Tamilnadu Energy Company Limited (NTECL) is operating Vallur Thermal Power Project with 3 coal based thermal power units of 500 MW capacity each. Dry fly ash of about 1374 MT per day is available for free issue from dry fly ash silos to manufacturers of fly ash bricks or clay fly ash bricks, blocks and tiles as per Ministry of Environment and Forests notification dated 14/09/1999.
The ash brick manufacturers who are holding the allotment also shall apply. Fresh allotment to them shall start after the expiry of current allotment or withdrawal of current allotment as per their choice.

(2)The fly ash, if allotted to me/ my/our firm/ company would be used for the purpose of making bricks/ blocks/ tiles of fly ash or clay fly ash, within the premises of the factory to which it is being transported.
(3)It is my/our responsibility to transport/ unload/ store/ use the dry fly ash at our own cost as per Pollution Control Board Guidelines. I/ We would be solely responsible for any ash spillage on the way and would clear up the spilt ash at our own cost and responsibility.
(4)We have no objection to NTECL’s verification of above facts and figures and visiting our factory premises for physical verification before and during the free issue of fly ash.
(5)We shall provide additional documents/ information as demanded by NTECL.
(6)We will bring closed vehicles like ash bulkersfor collection of ash.
