Math 8: Term #1 Extra Credit Project

Objective: Students are to create a visual representation of our first term vocabulary words.

Requirements:

  • All vocabulary words are included, and spelled correctly
  • Mathematical definition of each term is included
  • An informative illustration or example for each term is included
  • Project is neat, organized, and well thought out. A quality project will likely take 2-3 hours to prepare.

Possible project formats:

  • Booklet
  • Power Point
  • Prezi
  • Crossword Puzzle & Matching Game (answer key must be included)
  • Be creative! Feel free to talk with your teacher if you feel you have a good idea.

Suggested resources:

  • InternetPlease DO NOT simply copy and paste definitions into a document! Make sure they are appropriate and relevant to what you have been learning in class.)
  • Class notebook
  • Record and practice Journal Glossary (RPJ must be with you in class each day though!)
