Marvin the Meerkat - An introduction to sculpted cake class

Thank you for expressing an interest in our Marvin the Meerkat class.

During this workshop, Sarah will teach you how to:

* How to make a basic secure structure to create your cake on.

* How to make the structure 'Food Safe'

* How to create shape using RKT (rice krispie treats)

* How to stack and fill your cakes.

* How to carve your cake.

* How to model Facial features using modelling chocolate and rkt.

* How to cover your cake with Ganache in preparation for covering.

* How to cover your cake with Sugarpaste

* How to add textured detail and colour

* How to model limbs

* How to cover your base board and finish with ribbon

This class is suitable for students who have some experience handling Sugarpaste. At the end of the class you will go home with a fully sculpted Marvin the Meerkat cake, and the knowledge of how to further use your learned skills to develop other cake projects.

You need to bring an Apron, a notebook and pen and a light lunch.

Small class size to ensure plenty of individual attention.

Please note due to the different learning speeds of students, this class may over run its finish time.

Class Fee: £180 all materials included

**There is an option of a reduced fee: £150. You bring your own Cake, Gancahe and Buttercream (recipe sheets will be provided)
