MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an Associate in Marketing & Communications to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing client administrative support as part of the firm’s business development team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Content creation:Includes identifying and creating content ideas for publications, blog postings, website and all digital media platforms.
  • Manage/create monthly newsletter:Includes the creation and/or selection of approved articles, excerpts and/or blogs for the newsletter, using HTML to put the newsletter together via MailChimp.
  • Manage critical social media networks of Prime Quadrant: Includes daily/weekly updates on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Manage all digital media requirements: Includes creating digital media files upon request and designing presentations with given content.
  • Manage PR and external networks of Prime Quadrant: Includes reaching out to journalists and media. This also includes managing the referral source network.
  • Support all marketing and business development efforts: This may include prospect research, identifying business development and partnership opportunities, and generally supporting any of the efforts of the Director of Marketing.
  • Support the activities of the Prime Quadrant Foundation: The recently launched foundation is the entity that supports the charitable giving activities of the partners, and serves as the vehicle for the firm’s CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideallyJournalism and/or literary degree) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Written and literary communications experience.
  • Previous experience in content creation, marketing and/or program development in a financial services environment.
  • High fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Dynamics CRM and MailChimp).
  • Technical skills with Database Management and Web Management (WordPress and HTML).
