Sunny and dry weather was experienced in the morning whilst scattered afternoon and evening showers were reported.
NUWARA ELIYA’S
Occasional light showers were experienced in most parts throughout the week.
UVA’S
Dry weather conditions were experienced in the mornings whilst scattered showers were reported in some parts of Haputale,Badulla and Bandarawela districts.
LOW GROWN’S
Scattered heavy showers were recorded in the Ratnapura and Deniyaya areas. Sunny weather conditions along with occasional showers were experienced in the Galle district.

There was good general demand for the 113,933 packages (7,409,459kilos) available in the market with prices closely following quality but 8.11% remained unsold.
Best BP1s on offer were steady with brighter varieties advancing by USC6 to USC20 but a few lines shed upto USC8 while mediums were irregular opening at USC6 easier but thereafter gained USC8 to USC18 andsome lines appreciated even further as the sale progressed; lower mediums saw an irregular enquiry varying between firm to USC12 dearer to easier by USC8 and some invoices were neglected with plainer descriptions firm to USC10 dearer and a select few advancing further with quality.
