Mark your calendars this [INSERT DATE], to participate in the Virginia Tech Day of Remembrance. On [INSERT DATE], we will collect donations for the Virginia Tech Doctoral Scholarship Fund. This is a scholarship developed by the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) Educational Foundation to honor and remember three victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy, Austin M. Cloyd, Matthew G. Gwaltney and Maxine S. Turner, who were also children of Virginia accounting families.

On [INSERT DATE] you will have the option to wear casual clothing in your alma mater’s colors for a tax deductible donation of $5 or more. To participate, simply dress in your alma mater’s colors, bring your donation of $5 or more and give your donation to (OFFICE COORDINATOR) to pay for the freedom to wear casual clothing for one day. Feel free to wear Hokie maroon and orange if you like. Please make all checks payable to the VSCPA Educational Foundation.

As part of this event, we will be collecting donations for the Virginia Tech Doctoral Scholarship Fund. This is a scholarship developed by the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) Educational Foundation to honor and remember three victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy, Austin M. Cloyd, Matthew G.
