Dear Mr Jenkins,

Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

I write in response to your request via the What Do They Know website requesting information about contract expiry dates and future procurement arrangements. I am happy to provide the responses to your questions as follows:-

  1. HR and Payroll services are internally delivered services and as such there is no contract or expiry date
  2. Our contract for BACS payment software is renewed annually. The current contract expires on 31.03.2016
  3. Whether these services will be tendered online will depend on the procurement strategy for these services. Procurement options will be considered and will include whether to use an existing public sector procurement framework, in which case our requirements would not be openly advertised. If we decide to undertake our own direct procurement process and the anticipated contract value exceeds £25,000 we will advertise the requirement on our e-tendering portal (The Chest) and Contracts Finder

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original letter and should be addressed to:
