Roles & Responsibilities:

EXPECTATIONS:

For the Maricopa Representative to function effectively, it is expected that the following will be done by ASU:

·  Consider lead time in scheduling meetings so the Maricopa Rep can arrange to attend

·  Provide the Maricopa Rep with the agenda prior to the meeting, and the minutes after the meeting

·  Provide an opportunity for the Maricopa Rep to place items on forthcoming agendas

·  Arrange parking for the Maricopa Rep for the purpose of attending meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MARICOPA REPS ON ASU COLLEGE CURRICULUM COMMITTEES

·  Before meeting: read agenda, review minutes and proposals

·  Represent Maricopa's view and speak on behalf of Maricopa

·  Communicate proposed changes as an advance notice to appropriate ICs (copy to the Maricopa Faculty General Education Representative)

·  Request feedback on proposed changes from Maricopa IC Chair(s)

·  Communicate IC feedback to the appropriate ASU campus

·  Share outcomes of ASU meeting with appropriate IC and Department of University College Relations
