If you are interested in applying for any of the following scholarships, complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit it with two letters of recommendation* plus an unofficial copy of your college transcript. You may use the same form to apply for more than one scholarship. A committee of CGCC faculty will determine the scholarship recipients based on merit, presentation, content, and quality of the submitted applications. Award recipients must attend the Chancellor’s Reception Tuesday, April 28, 2015at Rio Salado Conference Center from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

* One letter of recommendation must be from one of your college instructors. If possible, include a letter from one of your Honors instructors. All letters must be current and dated during the month of February of 2015. Only complete applications will be reviewed.

CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARSHIP

Who may apply? – only 4th semester Presidents’ Scholars who will enroll again next year as an Honors Achievement Student at CGCC and all current Honors Achievement Students are eligible to apply for this award.

The Chancellor's Scholarship is offered to one student at each college annually to acknowledge and reward students who demonstrate the very highest academic achievement and service. It covers in-county tuition for two semesters for the amount equal to 18 credit hours and the fees for those credits for which the student is enrolled. In addition, the scholarship includes a cash award of $250 for books and supplies each semester. To be eligible, you must be a current full-time CGCC Honors student, must plan to enroll on a full-time basis at CGCC for the entire 2015-2016 academic year, and must maintain a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Award recipients must participate in the Honors Program and comply with all program requirements while they are receiving the scholarship. Award recipients must attend the Chancellor’s Reception Tuesday, April 28, 2015at Rio Salado Conference Center from 2:00-4 p.m.

FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Foundation Scholarships are presented to reward and encourage highly motivated, academically gifted students. This scholarship is a cash award, which may be presented to several students, and may vary in amounts up to $500 dollars per student for one semester. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and plan to enroll at CGCC during the 2015-2016 academic year. Award recipients must participate in the Honors Program and comply with all program requirements while they are receiving the scholarship. Award recipients must attend the Chancellor’s Reception Tuesday, April 28, 2015at Rio Salado Conference Center from 2:00-4 p.m.
