Message From The Principal
Thank you to the SJAM Community
It is with very mixed emotions that I write to say “good-bye” to my SJAM family. For close to six years I have enjoyed the support of everyone.
I can’t help but be humbled by all of the love, encouragement, patience and support that I have received during my time at SJAM. It takes the efforts of everyone to make SJAM the fantastic place that it is.
Thank you to the students who teach me new things every day. Be it around technology, the latest lingo or about life as a middle school student. I absolutely love the pre-teen/teen culture and I will miss you all. Always continue to strive to be the best you can be. I will be checking in on you to hear about all of your great accomplishments.
Thank you to the staff. Without you the school would not be what it is. There are so many caring adults here that truly invest in the students. Thank you for your support and dedication. You have made my job here so easy.
To the parents, thank you for your ideas and for your support of myself and the SJAM team of staff and students. Thank you for trusting me with your children. I have enjoyed co-parenting with you.
I would also like to acknowledge and thank our trustee, Mr. David Green and our superintendent, Mrs. Hazel Mason. You have never been more than a phone call away and you have always been willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever possible.
A special welcome goes to Mrs. Rita Manners who will be the new principal of SJAM. I know the school is in good hands with her and with Mrs. Dhillon, the vice-principal.
For now, I will say “see ya later” because good-bye is too difficult.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Michelle Anderson
