Check-in/Check-out Procedures

  • When you arrive at camp, you need to check in at the designated sign-in area. If visiting during the day after initial sign in, you need to go to headquarters, sign in and receive a wristband and name tag
  • All adults and scouts must have a current medical form and sign in and out of camp
  • If a scout or adult must leave early, the pack leader needs to fill out an early release form to be given to the camp director No scout will be released to an unauthorized adult
  • No scout will be released without a signature from the adult transporting him.
  • Your cooperation is appreciated and is mandatory for Scout and Staff safety.

Adult Responsibilities

  • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes early for camp. (We don’t have the facilities/staff to keep your scout occupied while we set up camp)
  • Please report to headquarters or the designated sign-in area upon arrival.
  • Attendance at daily Parent and Leader meetings is mandatory.
  • The buddy system is to be used at all times for all scouts.
  • Assist scouts as necessary, but please do not do the activity for them. Gently guide the scout through the activity so he feels a sense of accomplishment and success. You are encouraged to participate and assist Staff in the program areas.
  • You are responsible for your scout upon arrival, during lunch, and upon dismissal. The scout to adult ratio we are requesting is 1 adult for every 3 Scouts.
  • Scouts must take home all possessions at the end of each day.
  • Cell phones are not allowed in session areas. If you must make or receive a call, please proceed to the designated cell phone use area. Cell phones are disruptive and distract the scouts and leaders from their tasks. If you are talking on a phone, you cannot fully enjoy the activities.
  • You are responsible for the discipline of your scout. Please be fair. Time outs are appropriate – spankings or swattings are not. If necessary, scouts may be brought to camp headquarters. Youth Protection Guidelines are strictly enforced, and adult leaders attending camp are encouraged to take the training online prior to camp at
  • Any illness or injury must be reported immediately to the Health officer or Camp director.
  • If you have questions or concerns please address them to the Camp Director, or the Program director. If you feel something needs immediate attention, ask the area leader to radio headquarters and we will be right there.
  • If you feel it is necessary to contact a scout’s parents during camp, please come to headquarters and the Camp Director will make the call if deemed necessary.
  • If you feel your scout may need extra direction or support during camp, please bring it to the attention of the Camp Director so we can make sure everyone has a great time.
  • Please remember this is a scout camp and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the week.
  • Adults, scouts, and staff all need medical forms. There is a new health needs advisory form for any allergies or other health needs.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL!!

We hope that your camp experience is filled with fun while learning new skills and meeting new people. In the event that you and/or your son cannot attend camp at any time during the week, please contact the camp director, program director or council office.
