MAPAL opens new works in the Czech Republic

The international MAPAL Group has been represented by its subsidiary in the Czech Republic, MAPAL C&S, since 2002. 40 employees in technical sales and production successfully take care of the Czech and Slovakian markets. The employees work particularly closely as technology partners with the automotive and aerospace industries. Furthermore, MAPAL C&S is the regrinding and reconditioning centre for customers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and nearby Poland.

The facilities in Dlouha Lhota had now become too small for the company's sustained successful development. A new building housing a 1,000 m² production workshop and warehouse as well as 400 m² for offices was therefore built in the nearby strategically important town of Mlada Boleslav in a total construction period of only six months.

The official opening of the new building took place on 2 April 2014. Among some 100 invited guests, Managing Director Petr Pokorný was able to welcome representatives of the most important customers, the Lord Mayor of Mlada Boleslav, Raduan Nwelati, and the Managing Directors of the MAPAL Group, Dr. Dieter and Dr. Jochen Kress. In addition to visiting the new premises, the guests were able to learn more about technology trends and the latest developments in the MAPAL product range in a number of technical presentations.
