Parking & Entering the training Facility
Off 8th street there is an “upper playground” area for parking. You can also park on 8th street. There is another parking lot entrance off 9th street.
Enter the side of the building that faces 8th street. (do not enter through the child care doors) Look for a sign that says “AdultLearningCenter” – enter the doors and then follow signs upstairs to the TeacherDevelopmentCenter.

From Interstate 471 North, exit at exit number 4/Route 1120. Exit onto Memorial Parkway. Continue for 0.3 miles. Memorial Parkway becomes 10th Street. Continue for one mile. Turn right onto Central Avenue. Continue for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto West 8th Street. The site is on the right.
From Interstate 471 South, exit at exit number 4/Route 1120. Exit onto East 10th Street toward Newport. Continue for 0.9 miles. Turn right onto Monmouth Street. Continue for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto 9th Street. Continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Central Avenue. Continue for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto West 8th Street. The site is on the right.
From Interstate 75 North, exit at exit number 191/12th Street. Turn right onto 12th Street. Continue for 1.1 miles. 12th Street becomes West 11th Street. Continue for 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Isabella Street. Continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto West 8th Street. Continue for 0.2 miles. The site is on the right.

Heading North on Interstate 71, after crossing the bridge (Ohio River) bear right with I-71. Take the left fork toward I-471/US-52/Columbia Pky. – go .5 mi. What to Bring
Coaches should bring the following:
Comprehensive school improvement plan or equivalent (Instructional goals for Mathematics in 2006-2007)
One or two mathematics textbook(s) that they use in their school
Lessons, alternative assessments, student work (I know school is out and access to classrooms can be difficult, but if you can bring one or two things that other coaches would like to see or discuss, it would be helpful)
