This connects back to the ANZAC centenary & our identity as a nation. Remind students of the connection between the ANZACs sacrifice and Jesus’ sacrifice for us. We could perhaps use thinking tools to compare & contrast warfare in Jesus time to WW1 and present day & also look at cause and effect of these conflicts.
