Report to Senior Project Manager on a regular basis regarding progress, design changes, quality, resources, site and planning issues and safety issues. and for the correctness and accuracy of all the work of the team.
Undertake overview supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of the works with shop drawings, specification and contract requirements and when necessary cause to address deficiencies associated with the same.
Regular site inspection to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with latest shop drawings, approved Method Statement (MS), and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
Inspecting and supervising the inspection of construction while in progress and upon completion for adherence to plans and specifications.
Gives clear, concise and understandable instructions to Contractors to avoid abortive works and errors.
Supervision of all kind of construction works-steel, concrete, roofing and finishing works activities such as cladding, curtainwall, glazings, ceiling, gypsum works, wood works, stone, soft & hardscape, and millworks.
Advising contractors on the interpretation of plans and specifications; approving minor design changes in the course of construction.
Supervision and monitoring of all finishing subcontractor.
Issue Non Conformance Report (NCR) where areas of non-conformance are identified as a result of site inspection of contractors work. NCR is then submitted for review by the Construction Manager and coordinated by QA/QC Manager.
Responsible (along with all members of the site team) for monitoring HSE and reporting HSE violations while on site.
Review contractor’s submittal of shop drawings, material samples, product data,Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), operation and maintenance manuals, and other technical data to assure compliance with the requirements of the contract.
