The Stanislaus National Forest isseeking candidates to join our team on the Rim Fire Recovery effort. This opportunity is a NTE 1 yearDetail/Temporary Promotionas aSupport Services Specialist, Rim Fire Recovery Project,GS-0342-07.
Major Duties:This position is on the Stanislaus National Forest with responsibility to serve as a Support Services Specialist as part of the Rim Fire Recovery team.
This position is located on a Forest Service unit with responsibility for accomplishing a variety of support services including but not limited to the following: procurement of administrative supplies and equipment, tracking budget expenses, personnel processing, printing and mail service, space management, records and correspondence management as part of the Rim Fire Recovery Team.

The duty location is at Supervisor’s Office stationed in Sonora, Ca.
The Forest Supervisor’s Office is located in Sonora, California about 45 miles east of Modesto. The cities of Merced, Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco are located approximately 1 to 2 hours away. The four Ranger Districts, Mi-Wok, Calaveras, Summit and Groveland, are within 45 minutes of the Supervisor’s Office.
