Laura Benson is the new Interim HR Director.

The Safety Committee/Terry was invited to put on a workshop for Student Services to put on a presentation on evacuations and what to do during alerts. Get out of the building and touched on basic ways to keep your office from becoming an unsafe environment.

Terry was approached by Patric Schwabb 2 weeks ago about an ADA chair for the second story of the 31/3200 building. Terry asked him to submit a request. He would be required to get the training in place.

Mary Sylvester:

IIPP is finally final. It had been approved. It is in the process of being printed and distributed. There are 55 places for it and there will be 5 extra copies.

Megan Jessica and Mary are finalizing an injury reporting procedures

We are always looking for ideas for monthly newsletters.

Scott DeMello:

Gravel issue. Grounds got most of it swept up.

The temporary no smoking signs will be put up. The red coffee cans with poles cemented in them are at the pool.

Grounds is chasing away a pigeon who lives in the HumanitiesBuilding. They are using the sonic noise spike to make it uncomfortable.

ReginaVriend:

Smoking. Possibly have the no smoking policy added to student orientation. They see hundreds of new students smoking and she thought it would be a good idea. Terry suggested using MyCuesta and post as an announcement

-We had a thorough safety inspection of the financial aid department and have finalized the report.

-Some of the recommended changes have been made for the 3 recent workstation evaluations in Financial Aid. We have installed the Humanscale CH3000 document holder, 2 adjustable chairs have been brought in from surplus for when employees file, and other recommendations are being reviewed with the supervisor for action.

-I handed out the Caught in the Act gift cards to last months winners.

-We had 3 more employees attend our safety portion of the New Hire Orientation. Mary put together a Power Point Presentation and it went very smoothly. I will keep track of these and any other new employees as to their participation in the CITA program for the next 90 days.
