Supporting document – Applicationfor Leadership for Sustainability, Master's Programme (One-Year), 60 credits

Applicants need to submit a supporting document,in addition to a bachelor’s degree certificate consisting of 180 credits and an equivalent of English B/English 6 in Swedish secondary school. The supporting document will be assessed by lecturers with regard to its relevancy to the programme.

The supporting document must be submitted by this date:

  • February 1, 2018 for students applying in the First Application Round(International Application Round)

or

  • April 16, 2018 for students applying in the Second Application Round (National Application Round).

Part 1: Description of experiences of leadership and organisation

Write a description (max 700 words) of those experiences of leadership and organisation as well as sustainability and sustainable development which, in your opinion, prepare you for studying the master’s programme.

These experiences may be acquired from jobs, non-profit work,education or otherwise. You should describe how these experiences are related to the objectives of the programme.

Part 2: Summary of Independent work

Write a description (max 700 words)of the independent degree project you have conducted as part of your bachelor’s (first-cycle) level education.

-Present your problem area, the theoretical approach, results and relevancy to the programme.

-Unless the title of your independent project appears on your degree certificate, you must enclose an official document which confirms that you are the author. The project should also be available digitally for presentation on request, please providea link.

-If your degree project has not been completed and reviewed by the time of application, a certificate from your supervisor has to be enclosed outliningwork yet to be completed.

Part 3: Letter of Intent

Write a Letter of Intent (max 700 words) in which you describe your aims and objectives behind participating in the programme. Discuss these purpose and objectives in relation to your view on sustainability, leadership and organisation and your imagined career.
