THE EATING DISORDERS LEARNING COLLABORATIVE:
Maine’s Eating Disorders Learning Collaborative is a network of 28 trained teams in communities across Maine
that can provide diagnosis and outpatient treatment for those with eating disorders in our state.
- We make every effort to keep the list up-to-date.
- Bolded names are child psychologists.
- Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland offers treatment for babies, toddlers, and others through their teens.
- The New England Eating Disorders Program (NEED) at Mercy Hospital in Portland offers treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. To arrange an eating disorders assessment for the NEED program call 879-3795.

MISSION STATEMENT: Mainely Girls is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 with a two part mission: to work with rural communities to assist them in focusing on girls’ needs in a preventative and pro-active manner, and to work on the state level to bring about positive change for girls.
