SCHOOL DAY MORNING.

The province has moved to a new program for student information and report cards called MyEd. All staff have been learning about this new program and we are using it for attendance as well as report cards. To provide as much time as possible for teachers to be comfortable with this program and complete assessments, report cards will come home Friday,December 18th. The report cards that will be coming home will look different that past report cards. For intermediate students, there will not be a work habits box (G,S,N). Instead, teachers will be writing anecdotal comments about work habits embedded in the comment portion of the report card. Both primary and intermediate report cards will be succinct in information but not as lengthy as in the past.

FRUIT 'n VEGGIE PROGRAM

Just a note to parents: that we are again offering the Fruit 'n Veggie program this year. Fruit and veggies will be delivered to our classrooms approximately once per month. Students love all the fresh fruit and vegetables that are delivered to our school. If YOU DO NOT WANT your child to participate please let the office know. It is amazing how many fruits and vegetables get consumed on these days.

CHILLY WEATHER

As the weather turns colder, please ensure your child/ren are dressed for the outdoors. Students are expected to be outside during the breaks unless there is significant rain or if the temperature is cold, depending on the wind chill. It is healthy for children to play outside, and we do not have enough supervision to be able to simultaneously monitor children inside and outside
