SHORT TENDER NOTICE
TENDER SPECIFICATION NO. GMC/CCC/K’KHEDA/T-2/2007-2008
1.0 Sealed and superscribed percentage rate tenders in two separate sealed covers are invited by the General Manager (C) Civil Construction Circle, M.S.P.G.C.L., Khaperkheda from reputed and experienced Bidders with the Pre-qualifying requirements as under for the following works.
NAME OF THE WORK : Khaperkheda TPS – Construction of 11 KV Sub-Station
Control Room, Transformer foundation and chain link
fencing etc. for 1x500 MW unit at Khaperkheda
ESTIMATED COST : Rs. 11,69,374.00
EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT : Rs. 12,000.00 ( Cash / D.D. only)
TIME LIMIT : 3 (Three) months.
SECURITY DEPOSIT : 5% of the contract value.
2.0 PREQUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS
2.1 The tenderer shall be registered in the appropriate class in Government/ Public Sector Undertakings.
2.2 The tenderer should have executed successfully and satisfactory work of similar nature such as construction of earthen bund for power houses or Heavy Industrial units, having completed value not less than Rs. 12.00 lakhs under a single contract during last five years.
OR
The average annual turn over of the tenderer during the last three years in executing the works of similar nature and value for Power House or Heavy Industrial unit shall not be less than RS.12.00 Lakhs.
3.1 The tenderer shall furnish necessary documents (original / attested copy) in support of pre-qualifying criteria specified under 2.0 above along with the application for purchasing the tender.
3.2 The tenderers not fulfilling the criteria of submission of the technical bid documents as specified in tender will be disqualified.

3.3 Blank tender documents can be obtained by intending tenderers in person against written application, during working days upto 14.00 Hrs. from 25-07-2007 to 03-08-2007 from the office of the General Manager(Civil) Civil Construction Circle, M.S.P.G.C.Ltd, Khaperkheda along with a non-refundable payment of Rs.5000.00 each only by Cash / Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank payable at Khaperkheda in favour of General Manager(Civil) Civil Construction Circle, M.S.P.G.C.L. Khaperkheda towards the issue of Blank Tender documents. Additional blank tender copy shall be issued for Rs.3000.00 each, if desired, which however shall be marked as “Extra Copy” and shall not be valid for tendering. Sealed and superscribed Tenders (Cover No.I & Cover No.II) duly filled in as per the procedure stipulated in the tender documents will be received on 06-08-2007 upto 13.00 hours at the office of General Manager(Civil) Civil Construction Circle, M.S.P.G.C.L. Khaperkheda and Cover No.I & II will be opened at 15.00 hours on the same day, if possible, in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representative. In case the above date happens to be a Public Holiday, the immediate next working day will hold good in lieu of the date mentioned.
Tenders shall be submitted only in person. Tenders sent by post / courier will not be accepted. The right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever is reserved by the MSPGCL.
