Student Ambassadors

Who are the KSS/Rec Admin Student Ambassadors?

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who represent the Kinesiology & Sports Studies and Recreation Administration departments. Ambassadors serve as knowledgeable representatives of the department at various on and off-campus initiatives. Under the guidance of their respective departments, ambassadors provide outreach to prospective students, parents, alumni, and friends.

What we are looking for.

·  Enthusiastic students who are outgoing and friendly

·  Students with excellent communication skills

·  Professional and dedicated team players who are willing to share their appreciation of both EIU and their college experiences

What Ambassadors do.

·  Meet with prospective students and their families

·  Participate and assist in recruitment events both on and off campus

·  Conduct tours for visitors and attend meetings as necessary

Qualifications.

·  Possess and maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA

·  One completed academic year at EIU

Expectations.

·  Commit to the program for at least one academic year

·  Participate in multiple on and off-campus recruitment efforts

·  Promptly reply to email requests from Department Chair
