Lucas Oil Stadium – Banker Duties

  1. After check-in, get the voucher from the folder. It’s usually stapled to the packet.
  2. Immediately go to vault, show the voucher to security guard, and go to the window on the right side for bag #2006
  3. Sign for bag and take it to one of the cubbies to count your money. Count ALL the 5’s and verify you have all the 1’s and quarters that are listed. Everything should total $1,700. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A KEY IN YOUR BAG.
  4. Leave vault and go up the ramp (waiting for elevator takes FOREVER). Turn right at top of ramp. Go through the Huntington Green hall, pass the giant horseshoe and we are Hot Dog #124 on the left.
  5. Put on your hat and shirt BEFORE you go into the stand.
  6. LOG ON TO REGISTERS: Login OK; Password OK
  7. Divide 5’s, 1’s and quarters among the 4 registers. A stack of 5’s (bundle of $100) per register should be a good start. 2 stacks of 1’s ($100 each) divided between 4 registers should be enough. Disperse the quarters among all 4 registers.
  8. After kick off, one of the tellers from the vault will show up with a police/security officer. You will make your drop and put it in the black plastic bag with the half-sheet deposit slip inside (keep the yellow copy). BILLS FOR THE DROP MUST BE $20’S AND HIGHER. Set aside $40 to get extra quarters. Keep them wrapped and use if needed.
  9. Though out the shift, you can move money among the registers if necessary.
  10. After the beer has been shut off and business slows down, start bundling your bills and consolidating registers.
  11. When the stand closes, walk the gauntlet back to the vault.
  12. When you get back to the vault, add up your totals and put EVERYTHING in the bag: cash, markers, coupons with the $ amounts, and deposit slip. Don’t be worried, this process will probably take 45 minutes to 1 hour. After you have everything in the bag, get in line (it will be long) and wait your turn for a teller.
  13. The teller will re-count everything and you will have to sign a deposit slip again --- then you are free to go and meet the rest of your crew to go home! Congrats! You did it!
