1989Recipient of the Lubbock Chapter of the American Marketing Association Phillips Goodell Award for Outstanding Service to the Local Chapter.

1988During my tenure as Chapter President, the Lubbock Chapter of the American Marketing Association won the Chapter Excellence Award for chapter management.

1987Recipient of the "Wayne Lemburg Award" for "Conspicuous Individual Accomplishment" by an AMA member. First academic to receive this award from the National American Marketing Association, which was established in 1986 to recognize an individual whose "professional life and service activities (that) have had a significant positive effect on the organization, and have enhanced the image of AMA or fostered improvements within the association.

1985College of Business nominee for the Amoco "Outstanding Teacher Award."

1974During my tenure as Chapter President, the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association won the Chapter Management Award for the best managed chapter.
