An outreach programme about opera, presented by PACT Opera, made Loveline decide to pursue studies in opera. Her singing teacher was Lorraine Haveman.

Her first professional role was the Strawberry Woman in the State Theatre’s production of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, followed by the roles of Countess Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigolettoand Marlyn Dirks in Temming’s South African opera, Buchuland.

She holds a National Higher Diploma in Performing Arts (Opera) and a Bachelors Degree in Education Technology obtained from the Tshwane University of Technology. She joined The Black Tie Ensemble (BTE) during 1999. In Cape Town Loveline studied under the tutelage of Professor Virginia Davids, and presently receives vocal coaching from Louise Botha.

In 2001 she was part of the ensemble which visited China and performed in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. In 2004 she sang the role of Mimi in BTE’s production of Puccini’s La Bohème to critical acclaim. In 2004, during a visit to Austria with the support of the Department of Arts and Culture, she performed with BTE in four concerts - three concerts in the city of Graz and one in Vienna. In 2005, at the invitation of the Department of Arts and Culture, she performed with BTE in Japan at the AICHI World Expo 2005 inNagoya, as well as at the South African Embassy in Tokyo.

In September 2005 she performed with BTE for Mrs Mbeki in Pretoria and in October she performed with BTE at the 9th International Investment Council Meeting hosted by President T M Mbeki. In 2006 she sang at a special performance at Tuynhuys during the Presidential Banquet in honour of Mr and Mrs Kofi Annan and she sang the title role in Puccini’s Tosca during BTE’sFour Opera Vignettes production.

Loveline performed the role of Irina in the production of cry the beloved country with the Pro-Musica Orchestra, and she sometimes performs with the Afro Tenors, she recently appeared as a special guest with the Soweto Opera Quaddro.

Loveline performed for the President of South AfricaJacob Zuma 3 times in different occasions.

In January 2011,Loveline was appointed by the Black Tie Ensemble as an Outreach Manager.

Loveline works a lot with learners from South African school chorale eistedford,coachingthem,running workshops and also adjudicates their competitions through the Department of Education.

Loveline runs the Outreach concerts in the Townships around South Africa,and the programmes help to create plartforms for different artist including young singers and professionals .

She started a series of Opera concerts that takes place at 330 Derick Avenue ,Tauromenium, Waterkloof Ridge every month.The concerts helps to keep Opera music alive and helps to develop audience for the Classical genre.

Loveline recently together with the Afro Tenors performed at thePrincipal and Vice Chancellor’s Business Gala Dinner atUnisa .

On the 28 November 2014Loveline and Given Mabena performed for Dr AnnaMokgokongfor the end year function of Community Investment Holdings.
