Title: Postdoctoral Researcher(Two positions/Recreational Fisheries Economics/Commercial Fisheries Economics/100% Research, 12-24 months/Non-Tenure track)

The Postdoctoral Researcher (Recreational Fisheries Economics) and the Postdoctoral Researcher (Commercial Fisheries Economics) positions are grant-funded, non-tenure track positions funded by NOAA Fisheries to the Louisiana Sea Grant College Program. Both incumbents will work with CNREP researchers in the collection and analysis of primary and secondary data from the recreational/commercial (respectively) fishing industry in the northern Gulf of Mexico.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Resource Economics, Agricultural Economics, Fisheries Science, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Additional Qualifications Desired: Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of audiences; possess a demonstrable record of expository writing for technical and scientific audiences; experience in survey design, survey implementation, and statistical analysis. Special Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel overnight and use personal vehicle. Responsibilities: designs and implements survey instruments; develops spatial and econometric analyses; prepares scientific manuscripts; develops oral presentations.
