Britain: A Case Study

1.  Describe how the percentage of obese men and women has changed in England.

2.  Describe how the percentage of obese children has changed in England.

3.  Explain why the government are particularly worried about levels of child obesity.

4.  Describe what might happen in the future to the percentage of obese people in the Britain.

5.  Briefly explain why people become obese.

6.  Explain why the percentage of obese people is increasing in Britain. Use the following sub – heading: Behaviour (eating & exercise); Deprivation and Income and Obesogenic environments; Genes and Other Factors.
