Lou Gehrig 2008 Tournament Season
The Lou Gehrig Youth Baseball Association announces its 2008 Tournament Season. All games will be played at the Lou Gehrig Youth Baseball Complex located at 50 Dann Road in East Amherst, New York. The complex is an award winning venue which is in close proximity to Niagara Falls.
All Lou Gehrig diamonds are completely fenced, have enclosed dugouts, electronic scoreboards, handicap access and improved concession facilities. Pitching mounds and infields are groomed daily during tournaments. The complex also features one showcase 60’ lighted diamond.

8 & 9 Year Olds - $225.00 10& 11 Year Olds $250.00 13 & 14 Year Olds - $300.00

Tournaments at all age groups will have a Round Robin format with each team guaranteed three games. Players must be of proper age by April 30th. Birth certificates or presentment of Babe Ruth ID Cards will be required. All teams must present a valid Certificate of Liability Insurance and Team Roster prior to playing. Maximum teams: Boys 8U is 12 or 16 teams. All other age groups are 8 teams. Lou Gehrig uses two professional umpires per game in the 13U and 14U tournaments. Two to three qualified house youth umpires are used per game in the 8U, 9U, 10U, and 11U Tournaments. Teams will be accepted into the tournament only upon receipt of a Team Tournament Registration Form and check. The Tournament Director will send an e-mail confirming receipt of your registration form and check.

Note: If you have not yet selected your tournament team managers, fill out all other entry form information and send the managerial information later. Tournament entry is on a first come, first served basis. The Lou Gehrig Youth Baseball Association reserves the right to refuse entry to any organization or team.
