Robot Welding, ready... go!

Ready-to-Robot with S-RoboMIG

High-performance robot welding systems from Lorch provide investment security and a secure investment for the future with upgradeability

Lorch Schweißtechnik presents a MIG-MAG robot power source that enables flexible welding applications at Schweißen & Schneiden 2013. With the upgrade concept enabling modification at any time, the system can be adapted to the process requirements without having to change anything on the hardware itself.

As the name of the Lorch "Ready-to-Robot" product range indicates, the company provides complete packages matching the market-leading welding robots of Kuka, Fanuc, Motoman and ABB (further robot systems on request). The core of the Ready-to-Robot complete package is the new high-performance MIG-MAG robot power source of the S-RoboMIG series. Thanks to its innovative concept for upgrading from a base version, it can be tailored to match your current welding task. Therefore any system can be delivered as a Synergic, Pulse or SpeedPulse design and can upgraded to the desired process level at any time without the need to change the hardware. This also applies for all productivity-improving MIG-MAG-Speed processes from Lorch, which can likewise be expanded any time. As a result, the innovative upgrade concept offers customers the greatest flexibility, and a secure investment for the future. "When choosing a robot project, the customer no longer has consider which MIG-MAG welding process he may still need in the future." That is the basic idea behind the concept from Lorch.

In addition to the robot power source, the "Ready-to-Robot" solutions consist of corresponding periphery components, the newly developed, modern wire feeder case RF-06 - distinguished by its low weight and a rail system for hollow-arm robots - and various interface technologies - from analogue-digital interfaces to bus systems like DeviceNet, ProfiNet and EtherNet/IP. The complete packages are rounded out with torches matching the respective robot type of renowned manufacturers. The S-RoboMIG is immediately available in the output classes 320 A, 400 A and 500 A.
