LORAIN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE CCP/CIE Student Financial Responsibility Form

·  HOME-SCHOOL STUDENTS and NONPUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS:

I understand that my Lorain County Community College registration for next semester is confirmed. However, I am a Credit-In-Escrow student (self-pay) for all courses not funded at this time.

State funding for Home-School and Nonpublic students for College Credit Plus (CCP) is limited. Funding will only be awarded when students submit a completed funding application and an LCCC letter of acceptance to the State of Ohio in the time frame directed by the state. I understand that, even if I do receive funding, it may not cover all of my tuition and book expenses. Under Credit-In-Escrow, I understand I am responsible to pay for the tuition, textbooks, materials, fees, etc., for any course or courses not funded.

It is my responsibility to submit the CCP funding application to the State of Ohio by the state’s established deadline. Once I receive my funding letter from the State, which includes my CCP unique identification number, I will call the LCCC Counseling Department to schedule a meeting with an LCCC advisor or CCP counselor to see if an adjustment can be made concerning my financial responsibility. This letter must be presented to LCCC at least two weeks prior to the start of my term. If LCCC does not receive my funding letter, I will remain a Credit-In-Escrow student and be financially responsible for all of my courses.

Note – Home-schooled students are responsible for the cost of textbooks.
