J Polgar – Singh (Hastings 1988):

how does the 12 year old The Polgar sisters, Suzan, Sophia & Judit

Judit Polgar win (2/3 moves)?

At the Tromso Olympiad in Norway Judit Polgar, the greatest female player of all time, announced her retirement bringing to an end a career which saw he become at her peak the 8th highest rated player in the world. Born in Hungary in 1976 Judit was the youngest of three sisters. Her parents Laszlo and Klara subjected their daughters to an educational experiment to support Laszlo’s theory that a child’s achievement was determined largely by educational rather than hereditary factors. Chess was selected as the chosen field of study because success could be readily measured. Her early years in the game saw her become world Under 12 and world Under 14 champion. At 13 she was ranked among the top 100 players in the world and became the then youngest ever Grandmaster at the age of 15 years and 5 months. More next week but now two games showing her great talent at the age of ten and even earlier, seven:
