Boasting an ever-increasing blue-chip client base, Datamonitor’s London office, part of the wider Informa Group, is currently looking to take on a client facing Account Manager, who will develop new and existing client relationships within the Financial Servicesmarkets across Europe. We are looking for someone who possesses three sovereign qualities – ambition, confidence and determination.
The role of Account Manager encompasses both managing and growing revenues from existing clients as well as looking for new sources of income for the business. As you will be selling both syndicated content via our flagship ‘Knowledge Centre’ delivery platform and bespoke consultancy services, we are seeking applications from candidates that have previously sold business information or related services into the Financial Services industry at a senior level, ideally across Europe. .
As an Account Manager your role will involve:
·Achieving revenue targets from new and existing clients.
·Presenting the opportunities and value of Datamonitor’s products and services.
·Building up long term relationships and developing account plans
·Determining client needs and to be constantly aware of opportunities to upsell to an organisation.
·Working with our senior analysts to ensure our world class products are tailored to our clients needs
·Building strategic selling, presentation, proposal writing and bespoke solutions skills.
The successful applicant will possess:
·Excellent track record in selling solutions to senior decision makers in the Financial Services or Professional Services industry
· Strong account management and business development track record
· Experience in presenting the value of market information is desired
· Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
·Highly developed business acumen and ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
