The Staff Administrative Analyst (Accounting Systems) position is in the CALSTARSClient Support and Training Unit. This position provides CALSTARS assistance on site and through the CALSTARS Hotline; conducts formal classroom training for department staff; develops training lesson plans and related training materials and assists CALSTARS departments in accounting operations. The position also develops accounting and operational policies and processes, prepares CALSTARS Operations Memos and documentation on new or revised accounting procedures. The Staff Administrative Analyst will also support the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) in system testing and department implementations as departments transition from CALSTARS to FI$Cal.
