Matthew12:30 “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” (Either we gather or we scatter. Which are we?)

"LOOK FOR HIS COMING"

ALL SCRIPTURES ARE QUOTED FROM THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE.

HAVE YOU COME ONE ON ONE WITH THE LORD?

Deception I

Take a close look at ourselves as we approach the holiday season. In many cases we have opened the door and let the world come in. We often accept tradition of man far more than The Word Of God.

We have become so accustomed to tradition that we are disappointed if we do not have it especially Santa Clause and the kitchens. Feasting and breaking the Sabbath are high on our to do list.

I once heard a sermon by David Wilkerson on End Time Deception and I was greatly impressed , particularly at some of his terminology such as in our modern churches many have the “Gospel Of Accommodation”, “Speaker Friendly Churches”, “Non Confrontational”, “Non Abrasive” and “Comfortable“ were among the most pronounced.

I have thought along these lines for a number of years. I used the word “enticement” for drawing into the church. When the spirit of the Lord is not drawing them because of our lack of spirituality and dilution of the word we set the hand of man to the task of using other means to fill the house of the Lord (lust, desires and weaknesses of man). “Easy believe ism” is used as a short cut to increase numbers, fund raisers to increase material substance and to finance the enticement and/or entertainment. The object seems to reach the goal at any cost. Sometimes we approach infant baptism trying to reach the numbers. How can anyone make a lifetime commitment when they are too young to understand what they are doing?

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceiveyou.

Mark 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceiveyou:

6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Please note that the disciples ask Jesus about when shall these things be and a sign. He mentioned deceive and deceived in all three of the gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke. I believe it was the first response given in all three gospels. This indicates to me the severity of deception in the last days. It appears to me with Secular Humanism being taught in the schools and infiltrated our government, society, and apparently most churches as well as our homes that we are living in the greatest age of deception the world has ever known since Adam. Our people are complacent, tolerant, and not willing to stand for anything that would make waves.

False Christ

Mt. 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mk. 13: 21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Lk. 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Focus

Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Heb.2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him:

Modern society should be no surprise to us. Outrageous things continuously happen, and we are in state of spiritual chaos.

Whatever we focus on, that we will become. If we focus on the Old Grecian Philosophers and their ideas, then slowly we will begin to think and act like them. They believed truth was situational and subject to change, then it would no longer be the truth. We have reached the point we believe in situational ethics.

Yes, whatever we focus on we eventually become. If we focus our nation on God, then we eventually will become a Godly nation. If we focus on sin, then we will become a sinful nation.

It appears we have chosen our path long ago. We decided (with some help) that man’s reason was the highest intellectual contemplation that man could achieve. We have set our coarse on the seas of Reason and now we reason everything out. We reason what is right and wrong. We reason if the Bible is right. We even reason to decide if there is a god.

Whatever we want to do, we reason it out to where we usually can accomplish what we want.

If we focus upon the good of man, then we will create good of man. Stop being good; be Godly. Humanism is taking over by the good of man and not the Word Of God. Our focus determines our course.

Materialism is a central focal point in our modern society. Much of our life is spent on securing and keeping material possessions. Most of our life’s training is in the securing of materialistic things for the Here And Now.

Eudaimonia (good life), the state of well being, is a central focus point. This encompasses many items. Recreation is felt to be a necessity. Sports often receive more time and finances than the Lord.

A gun is useless without a sight. Modern day Christians can accomplish nothing without our focusing our sights on the Lord, not on the good of man. If we do that which is highly esteemed of man and not God we have accomplished nothing.

LET US FOCUS ON GOD AND BECOME GODLY.

Psychology (example of Humanism in our school system)

Is Psychology Satanic?

(a few of the aforementioned are discussed – you think on the others)

Louise S. Idomir was an educator for thirty-three years. She admitted she unwillingly contributed to the deterioration and present dysfunction of the nation’s public school system. She witnessed and was a part of the implementation of behaviorism and existentialism in classroom practice and teaching.

She considered herself to be a good person, loving her family, neighbor and country. She attended church regularly and felt she would spend eternity in God’s presence.

In her later years Louise S. Idomir found a personal relationship with the Lord. I quote from her book The Tangled Web, “Not until I experienced His gracious touch and gift of salvation through His grace, did I come to really know God in His greatness.” Since that time she turned completely around.

She held a doctor’s degree in psychology, and as I understand it, two master’s degrees. After coming to the saving knowledge of Christ, she tried to undo damage she has helped cause. She taught thirty-three years mostly, in Arkansas.

Louise was one of the hardest fighters in the state of Arkansas against the philosophy of Secular Humanism. She resided in Conway, Arkansas, and in her later years went legally blind. She retired in the spring of 1985. She has wrote two books to help stop what she helped start.

I quote from the Special Note From the Author in The Tangled Web, “For the first time in my life, I was given spiritual light and truth. I was shown that many psychologists are God-haters and their theories, although appealing and plausible to those lacking spiritual truth, are, nevertheless, anti-Biblical and Satan inspired.”

She died at age 89, a Trojan. Yes, once she realized she was depraved and helpless without God, He used her in a mighty way. She told me that she had had ministers to walk across the church from her. She felt it was the love of their psychology.

The basic ideas of experimentation and experience of man used in science is now used on the mind.

Ministry has often become a vocation rather than a calling!

Do we have strange fire on the altar of God?

Nothing would give Satan greater satisfaction than to have 50 denominations with 50 different versions of the Bible and having us confused and arguing as to what was right and wrong. It appears he would be fairly well pleased with our generation.

What would please him even more is to have half the congregation with broken vows to God through divorce and broken families everywhere.

He would have a glimmer in his eye if he thought that our people had so little love of God in our hearts that we would not bring our tithes and offerings to the house of the Lord but that we must be enticed by car washes, fish fries, rummage sales, auctions, smoked turkey sales, etc. etc. in order to give our money unto the Lord.

Fund raising has become a regular ritual in many of our churches. If I understand the Bible correctly we are (1) To give from our hearts (2) Not of necessity (3) Do not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing concerning giving (4) Bring unto the storehouse on the first day of the week as the Lord has prospered us. If the above is done we will not have a need for enticement to make a person give to the Lord. The coffers of the Lord will overflow.

Satan knows that there is enough room in church family centers to divide into classrooms and enough Christian teachers to teach our young. We do not have to turn our children over to the secular school system to be filled with atheist doctrine.

I am sure Satan is pleased with the way we are going but I doubt that God is pleased.

Are we saying our people will not give of a free and open heart? Our people do not love the Lord enough to help His cause? We must bribe them to part with their money. God will get part of it, maybe. (Can it be trusted by many churches to be used solely for the advancement of the kingdom of God and not for the bellies sake or for entertainment?)

Do not take my word for it. Just drive around and read the signs in front of many churches. I have even seen tickets sold for prayer breakfasts.

In the Old Testament when a lamb was offered unto the Lord it was a young male without blemish, in other words the prime, the best that you owned went to the Lord.

I wonder if the Lord feels that many of His houses are made into houses of merchandise. I have even heard of the house of the Lord being used to have auctions to sell rummage.

2 Tim. 3: 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Isaiah 6:9 ¶And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Isaiah chapter 1 States clearly God does not want anything we have except we be “willing and obedient”.

“Gospel Of Accommodation”, “Speaker Friendly Churches”, “Non Confrontational”, “Non Abrasive” and “Comfortable“ (see first paragraph of this newsletter)

Many have made themselves comfortable in churches embracing and celebrating with Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, ghost and goblins in the House Of The Lord. Christ cast out of the temple money changers and those selling animals for sacrifices. Christ would not let any man carry any vessel through the temple and we are comfortable bringing the whole kitchen into the church. Christ said his Father's house was a house of prayer. We feel quite comfortable bringing decorations, celebrations, gift giving, and making merry into the house of Almighty God which is a house of prayer showing no fear of God.
