Finals Day in Abbeycartron Return of all TrophiesWith the end of season approaching, please note that the Day of 7-a-side Finals is Monday 7 May 2012 ( the May Bank Holiday weekend ).
If your team won a trophy last year, please return it to Tom Cunningham or John Moloney as soon as possible. 7-a-side Semi-FinalsThe 7-a side Semi-Finals will not take place in Abbeycartron this year. They will be played at the home venue of the top team with a referee appointed by the League. Example: under 9 Major Division; the top team in Section 1 will have home advantage playing the runner-up in Section 2. Special arrangements will apply in the under 10 Major Division; as there will be 3 top teams, they all cannot have home advantage, so they may be ranked in order of points. Results of Matches
Every referee MUST send results of 7-a-side matches as soon as possible after the match. They can be sent by text to 086-6018962 and should include goal-scorers as well as the result. They should also be sent by email to . The home team should ENSURE that the referee sends in the result; otherwise the game may be awarded to the away team. The League Tables will be fully updated soon, starting with the under 10 League.

Under 8 Fun League ( Saturday 24 March 2012)
The under 8 Fun League continues in a Blitz format this weekend on Saturday. There are 2 Blitzes at 2 different venues ( each having 2 pitches ) as follows:
Blitz No 1 in Kenagh starting at 11:00 : Kenagh Falcons, Kenagh Eagles, Killoe Lions, Killoe Tigers.
Blitz No 2 in Ardagh starting at 11:00. Ardagh United, Newtown Bears, Newtown Cubs, Ballymahon Lions As Blitzes are very dependent on all teams being present, there are teams on stand-by in case any of the Blitz teams are unavailable.
