Re: Urdu Language Immersion trip to SOAS, University of London
In order to enthuse and inspire students to aim higher and to attain higher in their GCSE Urdu Language, an Urdu Language Immersion course has been organised at the world famous SOAS, University of London. The course will run for three consecutive days from Wednesday 5th July to Friday 7th July 2017 from 8:45am to 4:30pm. We hope that this trip to SOAS will be very useful experience for your child and will have a positive impact on their language learning at GCSE level.
We will be travelling by public transport leaving school at 8:45am. Your child will not incur any travelling cost because travel cost has been taken care of by the school. We will be returning to school at 4:30pm however, students can be dismissed at Leyton Station to make their own way home. You need to give permission for this by signing and returning the slip below.
Students do not have to bring any food or drink with them because refreshments and lunch will be provided for them on all three days. On these three days your child can wear smart casual clothes and comfortable shoes according to the weather on that day. They do not need any spending money. They are advised to bring a bottle of water.
Students are allowed to bring their mobile phones on this trip in case they need to contact you or school for any reason.
