Research Interests/Expertise

Inorganic chemistry, synthesis of inorganic materials, solid state chemistry of inorganic materials, oxide ceramics for fuel cells, metal-ion battery materials, X-ray and neutron powder diffraction.

(ii)Innovation

Currently Antipov is a Professor of the Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage (CEE) at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). Skoltech is a new graduate-level university focused around centers that integrate research, education and innovation (CREI). CEE and CES conducts research that supports the energy industry in Russia and the world, and develops and demonstrates materials, devices and systems that provide the basis for innovative opportunities for advanced energy technologies. Antipov has 10 patents and has recently founded a company (Rustor).
