Logistics Analyst-TriQuint Semiconductor
Position Summary: Oversee and manage strategic and tactical aspects associated with our worldwide transportation network.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1) Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers
2) Lead and manage carrier negotiations
3) Provide freight spend analysis and reporting for senior management
4) Manage custom label process
5) Primary internal resource for freight related support (cost / transit times/ customs / INCOTERMS)
6) Analyze transportation network looking for continuous improvement opportunities
7) Support and monitor critical shipments
8) Investigate and resolve payment, on-time delivery, customs, and damage issues
9) Monitor freight payment process
10) Maintain compliance with government regulations (C-TPAT/Import compliance)
Job Qualifications:
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and self motivation
- Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation
- Excellent computer skills (Database, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with SAP
- Education requirement: BS/BA Business or Supply Chain related discipline
- Experience level: 5+ years Logistics/Supply Chain related
