Position Description
Saudi Aramco’s Domestic Refining and NGL Fractionation team is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to work in the Refinery. The position is responsible for ensuring integrity and safety of all stationary equipment and piping. Refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000 BPD of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oils to produce gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, benzene, and paraxylene. This is an expatriate opportunity located in Saudi Arabia.
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will have:
a- High-school diploma/DAE/Degree .
b-minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, including two (2) years in one or more inspection disciplines.
c-Relevant inspection certifications, including Liquid Penetrant Testing Levell II, Magnetic Particle Testing Level II, UTTG, Visual Testing Level II, CSWIP 3.0 or Associate AWS (ACWI).
Duties & Responsibilities
a-You will be required to perform the following:
b-Draft inspection reports, pre and post testing and inspection (T&I) reports, worksheets and non-compliance reports.
c-Prepare log book entries of on-site inspection.
d-Inspect each job site for unsafe conditions that could cause injury, death or financial loss to the company.
e-Report findings to appropriate parties. Install and remove valves and swings blinds.
f-Select type and size of metal or plastic pipe, tubing and fittings, for plumbing. Cut, fabricate, join and assemble copper, steel, stainless steel, and non-metallic pipe, repairs valves, faucets and associated equipment.
g-Sets, adjusts and performs maintenance on machine tool equipment and balancing machines.
Remove, repair, and install tubes in heat exchangers and condensers. Pull tube bundles, and expand and plug tubes.
