Teacher- Muhlenberg Career Development Center: Greenville, KY: April, 2011 to July, 2012: Prepared daily lesson plans to teach middle school level reading to young adults, between the ages of 16-24.

Teacher- Logan County Schools: Russellville, KY: July 2007 to July 2010: Prepared daily lesson plans and activities in order to teach READ 180 (reading) to 9th grade students who are not reading at grade level.

Teacher- Hopkins County Schools: Madisonville, KY: July 2004 to June 2007: Prepared daily lesson plans and activities to teach language arts (English) and reading to students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth, grades. Co-sponsored Junior Beta Club and Drama Club.

United States Probation and Pretrial Services Officer: Clarksville, TN: June 1992-April 2003: Prepared bond reports and supervised defendants awaiting trial, completed presentence reports for Magistrate and District Court Judges in the Middle District of Tennessee, supervised offenders convicted of federal offenses, prepared violation reports and recommendations on offenders who were unable to comply with the conditions of supervision.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES AND HONORS

Co-developed a community awareness program entitled DATA (Drugs and the Aftermath) to inform the general public as to the nature of the judicial system including the duties of a probation officer and the possible penalties of using/selling illegal drugs. Presented the program to various civic, church and school groups.

Developed an anger management program to use with offenders who had a need for this type of counseling.
