  1. Log in (choose teacher GALLEN if applicable)
  2. Click on start lesson or mailbox (make sure it’s the one I’ve assigned)
  3. Read article (different length-based on Lexile score)
  4. Pick any 3-5 paragraphs to summarize and/or generate questions by clicking on the icon. BUT, please write your thoughts in the setting the purpose box so they transfer to your thought question response.

Summarize=one sentence to summarize that paragraph

Question=a question that pops in your head about that paragraph

  1. Answer 8 activity questions (the grade will go in my gradebook-goal=75%)
  2. Answer poll question (we may or may not have done a pre-reading one)
  3. Answer thought question in BATS format (if applicable)

A-answer the question

T-text evidence to support your answer

S-so what? Explain how the answer & text evidence support each other

9. Once completed, add a sticker to the chart. Now you may…

~solve the math question

~read stretch article & answer stretch activity questions
