Hi Neighbor! Spring has sprung, the

farmers are getting antsy, the grass is green, and the Son is shining!

PlarnIt’s a funny word but stands for plastic yarn. Our women’s group has taken the challenge to crochet sleeping mats for the homeless out of plastic bags. It can take over 700 bags to make one 3X6 mat so if you’d like to helpthe causebring on those bags! Imagine thefun conversations we have as we assembly-style cut, tie, roll, and hook these beauties all the while praying for the one that may be thankful for it one day.

Small Group Scott Primmer is teaching all comers on the 1st & 3rd Thursday nights 6pm. Be prepared to dig into a chapter from the Word in that dynamic style of his! Come early for a spot on the comfy couch!

Food Pantry: The new building on Main Street in Moweaqua has been a great addition for the community. Besides canned goods, there are fresh farm eggs, frozen meat, clothes, furniture and books. This month we are collecting pepper and 16oz boxes of saltine crackers. Your donations can be dropped off in the tub provided at our front door.

Missions We have filled baby bottles with change recently that wasdonated to Living Alternatives in Shelbyville.You could join us in ournext project called 30 pieces of silver,symbolic of the price paid to betray Jesus. Nickels, dimes and quarters ought to fill up medicine bottlesthat our mission outreach committeelabeled for us. That offering will be used to help end human trafficking.

There’s still room, there’s still hope, there’s still to grow His church and one another deeply!

Holy Weekstarts with Palm Sunday at 10am April9, a community Good Friday service at 7pmApril 14 at First Christian Church in Moweaqua 6pm. Easter morning April 16we’ll have brunch at 9am then celebrate a risen Savior as the choir shares The King is Coming to video of the greatest story ever told. Get all excited as we worship Jesus, the Living One!

But kids, you can expect real bunnies to go to church on Easter morning. It’s the onlyday they leave the Forlines barn except for FFA petting zoos!

Community Sing Every 3rd Friday our doors will be open for potluck at 6pm and music at 7 from all over the area. With a wide variety of sincere praise from God’s wonderful people, April 21 promises to be a good one!
