Objectives:
- Provide quality clinical care to victims of sexual and gender based violence presenting at the MSF Clinic including:
- Medical examination and history taking, including (forensic) detection and medical reporting of sexual violence cases for legal purposes when required
- Appropriate treatment following protocols,
- Accurate documentation of the results of medical examination and injuries sustained
- STI prevention and treatment
- HIV risk assessment and Counselling
- PEP initiation and management, Emergency contraception, pregnancy care and termination of pregnancy referrals
- Medical care of minor injuries (fracture, lacerations, burns etc.)
- Emergency medical care / stabilisation for seriously injured patients
- Facilitate safe and proper referral to an appropriate structure and follow up of complicated cases
- Ensure confidentiality and correct handling of all documents related to patients
- Ensure psychological support (emotional support) throughout consultation
- Oversee clinical activities in the clinic site and ensure the quality and confidentiality of the services provided
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation of MSF activities in MSF SGBV clinic/program
- Participate in team meetings as required
Key Requirements:
Qualifications
- MBBS degree with full & valid registration from Medical council of India or state medical councils
Work experience
- at least 1 year of work experience as a medical practitioner
- Desirable experience in obstetric & paediatrics

- Ability to organize and prioritize workload & taking initiative when appropriate
