Running Events – 11:00

Standard running event order. Girl’s events will be run before boy’s events. JV events will be contested before Varsity events. JV division of the 3200m will be run at 10:00. JV and V 3200m Relay will begin at 11:00

We will be using our automated timing system for the varsity portion of the meet. The JV meet will be hand-held timing.

Coach’s Meeting:9:30 at the Hospitality Room in the building behind the stands.

Meet Administration:

Field Events:

Teams attending this meet are expected to help with making the meet run smoothly. See the Field Event schedule at the end of this document to see which schools cover which field event. The expectation is that the schools will provide a coach or other responsible adult to judge the event. Because this meet is on a school day and both the Varsity and JV divisions are competing, the meet host is not expected to provide field event workers. Student workers, provided by each school, may be used to mark and rake if needed. Field Event score sheets and tape measures should be picked up at the Hospitality Room before the coach’s meeting and returned to the timing tent after the last division.

Exchange Zone Judges:

Exchange Zone Flags will be picked up and returned to the timing tent.

** Camdenton will judge the breakline.

Hospitality Room:Donuts and coffee will be provided for the coach’s meeting. We will provide a lunch meal around 1:00 pm in the hospitality room. No dinner meal will be provided.

Tents:Tents only in the area in the grass

Locker Rooms:Locker Rooms are not available. Please ask athletes to refrain from entering locker rooms. Restrooms are available behind the stands.

Spikes/Equipment:Up to 3/16” Pyramid Spikes only. Violators will be disqualified. No spikes in the bleachers. Each athlete is responsible for their own equipment.

Blocks will be provided. Athletes are responsible for their own block holders.

Implements will not be weighed and measured.

Bullpen:All events will bullpen on the track in the area behind the 100m start line, near the back gate.

Markings:Chalk and tennis balls can be used for marking purposes. Tape is not permitted.

Scoring/Awards:Medals and points will be awarded to the top 8 competitors or relay teams in each event.

Results:Results will be posted at the concession stand and will then be submitted to TRXC Timing. Results will also be e-mailed to all coaches that evening or the next morning.

Spectator Area:All spectators should view running events and jumping events from the stands. Throwing events can be viewed at the throwing areas outside the stadium. Spectators should walk outside the fence to access those areas.

Concessions:Concessions will be sold behind the stands.

Parking:LCTC parking lot, across from the stadium
