Perianesthesia Nurse Awareness Week!
February 5 - 11, 2018
Happy PeriAnesthesia Nurse Awareness Week (PANAW)! This is a time we set aside to recognize and honor the 60,000 skilled, caring perianesthesia nurses across United States. I hope you'll take some time to celebrate our practice with your colleagues--and make the most of this week.
This year, the Perianesthesia Nurse Awareness Week theme,Perianesthesia Nurses: Passionate Care, Excellence in Nursing, recognizes our steadfast commitment to excellence in all phases of perianesthesia care. Share your passion with the entire healthcare team and the patients and families you serve. Remember that each of us, from novice to expert, plays a vital role in assuring excellent care and great outcomes.
I wish you a wonderful PeriAnesthesia Nurse Awareness Week. Thank you for your commitment to excellent professional patient care. Don't forget to send your PANAW celebration photos to our Breathline editor, Barb Godden (), for possible inclusion in a future issue of our member newsletter!
Sincerely,
Susan Russell, BSN RN JD CPAN CAPA
