LOC Number 43139 is hereby amended as follows:

1. Item 6.2.4 is being modified to read: “Experience configuring and implementing changes to the MAGIC solution or an SAP solution.”

2. Item 6.2.5 is being modified to read: “Experience configuring and implementing changes to the MAGIC/SPAHRS interface solution or an SAP interface solution.”

3. Item 6.5 is being added to read: “Individual(s) proposed may be given additional consideration for the following skills.”

The following questions were submitted to ITS and are being presented as they were submitted, except to remove any reference to a specific vendor. This information should assist you in formulating your response.

Question 1: The LOC is expecting MAGIC experience that is specific to MS state. Can it be substituted with regular SAP experience as MAGIC is also an SAP system?

Response: See Clarification numbers 1 and 2 above.

Question 2: Is there any incumbent for these 2 positions?

Response: Yes. Refer to Item 2 of the LOC, General Overview and Background.

Question 3: What is the hourly rate cap?

Response: There is no hourly rate cap.

Question 4: Do you have incumbent in this position now?

Response: Yes. Refer to Item 2 of the LOC, General Overview and Background.

Question 5: Awarded consultant who will work from home and will attend on-site meetings with DFA. Will DFA pay his travelling expenses?

Response: DFA will not pay travelling expenses. Refer to Item 7.2.1. Individual will be required to work on-site. Individual will be allowed to work remotely only when pre-approved by DFA. Refer to Items 8.2 and 8.4.

Question 6: According to 6.2.4, is it compulsory that a consultant should have past working experience with Mississippi DFA?

Response: See Clarification numbers 1 and 2 above.

Question 7: According to the 6.2.5, is it compulsory that a consultant should have past working experience with Mississippi DFA?

Response: See Clarification number 2 above.

Question 8: Would experience with a comparable accounts receivable system for another state government be acceptable?

Response: See Clarification numbers 1 and 2 above.

Question 9: Are you looking for sample resumes to be submitted with our response, or do we need to have these candidates already committed before submission?

Response: A copy of the proposed individual’s resume must be included. Sample resumes are not acceptable. Refer to Item 7.11 of the LOC.

Question 10: Are you providing us with rates for these positions, or do we need to provide our own rates?

Response: Refer to Item 7.2 of the LOC.

Question 11: Are these existing positions that already exist within DFA that you are just trying to renew? Or are these new positions?

Response: Yes. Refer to Item 2 of the LOC, General Overview and Background.

Question 12: Will there be an employee transition over to the awarded firm?

Response: If different from the current resources, the awarded individuals will receive knowledge and history of the system setup from the State resources. Due to budget restrictions, the incumbent resources and awarded resources Contracts will not overlap.
